Together with our partners, we provide healthy solutions to end hunger in our community. We serve Sarasota and Desoto counties in Florida. As All Faiths Food Bank has grown from simply feeding people in need to focusing on solving the problems surrounding hunger – overall nutritional quality, access to healthy food, school nutrition and its impact on learning – we look to find ways to provide nutrition education to people of all ages. We see hunger as a health issue and work towards ending the line, not just feeding it.
We are a familiar face and trusted friend in central and southwest Minnesota but with a new name. The new name – United Community Action Partnership, Inc. (UCAP) – was adopted through the merging of two organizations (Heartland Community Action and Western Community Action) with a rich history of helping people, changing lives, and working to eliminate poverty in the lives of people in Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lincoln, Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Redwood, and Renville counties. UCAP is a joint effort to bring together area resources to effectively and efficiently address the growing needs of our local communities in southwest Minnesota. We continue to hold true to our history of being a “grass-roots” private nonprofit organization that is represented and led by the communities we serve.
Rippleworks Foundation brings the practical support social ventures need to scale faster and improve more lives. Rippleworks Projects: Rippleworks leads short-term, high-impact projects where social ventures tackle their top operational challenges by working closely alongside leading startup executives from top Silicon Valley companies (including Airbnb, Netflix, Google).
