Lake Health is a private, not-for-profit leader in community health care in Northeast Ohio. In fact, providing progressive, compassionate health care to everyone in and around Lake County has been both our mission and our vision since 1902. Rather than focusing on episodes of care, we provide a lifetime of health and wellness, embracing a philosophy of patient and family-centered care. We accomplish our mission through a comprehensive network that includes 600 dynamic physicians, 3,000 health care professionals, almost 1,000 volunteers, and several up-to-date facilities including retail pharmacies . Offering the latest technology is a high priority at Lake Health. Lake Health has been an integral part of the community for over 100 years. Our programs, services, and facilities–which focus on your needs–reflect our commitment to Lake County and surrounding communities.
City Hospital is one of the leading companies in the Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, & Biotech sector.
"The CCMH Foundation is also raising money for a ""Healing Garden"" project to complement the new hospital facility. The Healing Garden would be placed near the patient wing and cafeteria of the new hospital on about 10,000 square feet. Research shows"
The mission of Columbia Memorial Hospital is to provide our communities with safe, high quality, comprehensive health care services in a dignified and compassionate environment. Columbia Memorial has served our region since 1893. The hospital you visit today, however, is one of the newest, most innovative and technically advanced facilities in the Hudson Valley. Everything we do, hiring the best and the brightest and rebuilding our entire hospital, is designed with one specific goal: to provide you with expert care. We are the community's hospital. Serving more than 100,000 residents in Columbia, Greene and Dutchess counties, the hospital focuses on advanced surgery, primary care and health education. It is a 192-bed acute care hospital. We also operate a 120-bed long-term care site as well as 26 outlying primary and specialty care centers. We've invested more than $51 million in new facilities and equipment in the last ten years including surgical instrumentation, patient information systems and medical imaging technologies. Columbia Memorial also has a 71,300 square foot office building and parking garage annex on campus making your care and treatment easily accessible. Our Kellner Wing houses state-of-the-art emergency and surgical departments. Our Emergency Department uses an advanced computer system to reduce patient waiting time and assist doctors and nurses in tracking patient care. It is also being used as a "preparedness tool" to help us track health information and identify public health emergencies. We now have a new 9 bed Intensive Care Unit which provides more space for our patients in order to accommodate cutting edge technology at each bedside. Each patient has an individual room to provide for privacy and windows and skylights to enhance the healing process.
We are a fully accredited 60-bed hospital and a 20-bed extended care facility. We provide health services to all residents within Sioux Lookout and the surrounding area, including the Nishnawbe Aski communities north of Sioux Lookout, the Treaty #3 community of Lac Seul First Nation, and residents of Hudson, Pickle Lake and Savant Lake. MenoYaWin, in the Anishinaabe language means health, wellness, well-being. It refers to holistic healing and wellness, the whole self being in a state of complete wellness.
