Paddy Power Betfair plc was formed in 2016 from the merger of two of the fastest-growing online betting operators in the world; Paddy Power plc and Betfair Group plc. Betfair US consists of two operations; TVG – an online horserace betting business based in California Betfair Casino – an online casino site in New Jersey TVG is the largest advanced deposit wagering (ADW) operator, offering US customers the ability to place online bets on horse racing. The ADW market is the largest legal form of online betting in the USA and TVG operates in over twenty States. TVG has performed strongly in recent times with revenues and handle (volume of wagers placed) both outperforming the wider market over the last three years.
