In October 2010, 2011 and 2013, Marshall Wace was recognised as ‘IT Department of the Year - Buy Side’ by the Financial News Awards for Excellence in Trading & Technology. We were instrumental in the creation of the Hedge Fund Standards Board, which has been set up to establish and maintain a set of voluntary best practice standards for hedge fund managers including disclosure, valuation, risk management, fund governance and shareholder conduct.
