Though Franklin County is a rural area, you don't need to travel to a large urban hospital for care. The Emergency Department at Weems Hospital is well-equipped and open 24 hours a day, everyday. Should more invasive care become necessary, Weems Hospital has a fleet of ground ambulances with well-trained paramedics and EMTs.
