About the Person
Michael J. Foster served as Senior Vice President of Tronox Limited since May 31, 2014. Mr. Foster served as the General Counsel and Secretary of Tronox Limited from June 15, 2012 to March 1, 2014. He served as General Counsel and Secretary of Tronox Worldwide LLC since January 2008 and its Senior Vice President since June 2012. Mr. Foster has 15 years of legal experience in corporate, private and government settings, including 10 years in corporate practice. He served as Interim General Counsel at Tronox Limited from November 2007 to January 2008 and served as its Vice President since January 2008. Since 2006, he served as Managing Counsel of Tronox, responsible for administration of the law department. He joined Kerr-McGee Corp. in 2003 as a staff attorney in the business transaction group, and in late 2003, his focus moved to the Kerr-McGee's chemical business. Mr. Foster served as Staff Attorney for Tronox when Kerr-McGee began the process of separating its chemical business in 2005. Mr. Foster's previous experience also includes positions with CMS Field Services, Inc., Enogex Inc., Warren F. Young & Associates, P.C. and the Tulsa County Public Defenders office. He serves as a Director of Tronox Pigments Australia Holdings Pty Limited, Tronox Worldwide Pty Limited, Ticor Finance (A.C.T.) Pty Ltd, Tronox Mineral Sales Pty Ltd., Tronox Global Holdings Pty Limited, Tronox Pigments Australia Pty Limited, Senbar Holdings Pty Ltd, and Synthetic Rutile Holdings Pty Ltd. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and American Bar Association. Mr. Foster holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture science from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa.
