Heritage Distilling Co. (HDC) is a craft distillery based in Gig Harbor, Washington. HDC is the most awarded craft distillery in North America by the American Distilling Institute 4 years in a row (2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017). Each of the Heritage Distilling Co. product lines and services were developed with a particular story in mind, because “Every Spirit has a Story”™. We are majority owned by women and family operated. As a Craft Distillery we manage the entire process of making our spirits by hand – from identifying and working directly with the farmers growing our grains, to ensuring the purity of our water source, to milling the grain, making our own mash and wort and running our own custom made stills – we strive to maintain the best of the “Field to Flask”™ ethos. Ever since the summer of 1995, we have been brewing, cooking, selling and talking everything beer. It`s our pasttime, our passion, our life. Since the beginning, we have always wanted to bring original beer, great food and local music to the Rehoboth Beach area. After a couple of years, no matter what we did, we could not keep up with the demands of our beer, our food and our entertainment. We built a bigger and better brewhouse (in Rehoboth Beach, DE - on the Avenue) and that`s where Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats is housed! Yum! With brewing, distributing, cooking, entertaining happening all in one building on the Avenue in Rehoboth, we eventually outgrew the brew house and moved the entire production brewery to Milton, Delaware. To keep things interesting and off-centered, we built a distillery in the upstairs of the Rehoboth Brewhouse so we could make vodka, rum and gin.
The new Avery Brewing Co. facility is based in beautiful Boulder, CO with state-of-the-art equipment thoughtfully designed for innovation. With fierce independence, our brewery has been committed to producing eccentric ales and lagers that defy styles and categories since 1993.The story of Avery began 23 years ago with a 7bbl brewhouse and a very thirsty homebrewer facing a quarter-life crisis. Today, Avery is 200+ employees strong, with a highly-rated Restaurant, a projected 65,000 bbls in 2016, and beer distribution in 35 states and growing. After a huge expansion in 2015 and the build out of a third Cellar under construction now, the sky`s the limit for Avery Brewing Company.
