Established in 1966, Virginia Lutheran Homes serves the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of more than 550 residents. Although a social ministry agency of the Lutheran Church, we welcome people of all faiths and many of our residents are from other denominations. The Heartland Center for Behavioral Change is a private, not for profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing substance abuse and other behavioral healthcare services to Missouri residents. Founded in 1982 as the Kansas City Community Center, we deliver hope, healing and recovery to people who are struggling with addiction and other life problems. Our comprehensive services have helped tens of thousands of people begin a new life — free of alcohol and drugs.
