Our mission is to empower communities and persons affected by HIV/AIDS in the state of Indiana by being a leading resource, provider, and advocate for comprehensive HIV/AIDS care, prevention, education, and related services. We envision Central Indiana free of the suffering caused by HIV/AIDS. Until then, we envision that every HIV-affected person in Central Indiana knows that The Damien Center is a safe and welcoming place so that no barriers separate people from the services they need to prolong and enhance their lives. The Damien Center offers vital supportive, preventive, and medical services to those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS so they may live abundant and productive lives. We believe passionately in the dignity and worth of every person who seeks our services. Welcome to NLTRA.org, the information resource site for the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association! The North Lake Tahoe Resort Association (NLTRA) is a 501(c)(4) non profit public benefit corporation, established under the laws of the State of California and registered to do business in the State of Nevada. The NLTRA`s adopted mission is to promote tourism and benefit business through efforts that enhance the economic, environmental, recreational and cultural climate of the area. The NLTRA is an association of related and coordinated services provided to our members and the community at large. These services include operation of the North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce and the Tahoe North Visitors and Convention Bureau. The NLTRA has an agreement for services with Placer County. Through this agreement, the NLTRA receives Placer County Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) funds to provide a full spectrum of management activities for tourism marketing and visitor services for businesses of the North Lake Tahoe area. The NLTRA also serves as a partner with Placer County and other local organizations and agencies in the development and funding of infrastructure, transportation and strategic planning projects designed to enhance tourism and community quality of life for the benefit of all in the North Lake Tahoe region. To guide its work, the NLTRA has developed and adopted the North Lake Tahoe Tourism and Community Investment Master Plan (June 2004) which has also been adopted by the Placer County Board of Supervisors. All NLTRA Board and committee meetings are open to the public. We are committed to incorporating public input and participation in NLTRA decision-making. Consistent with these goals, this site provides information about the NLTRA, including ""Who We Are and What We Do"", a staff directory and organizational chart, a roster of our Board of Directors and committee members, an updated schedule of NLTRA Board and committee meetings, meeting agendas and related information, and a library of NLTRA documents and publications.
The Iowa League of Cities serves as the unified voice of cities, providing advocacy, training and guidance to strengthen Iowa`s communities. The Iowa League of Cities has been serving as a key resource for municipalities since 1898, when a small group of city officials gathered in Marshalltown to exchange ideas on how to strengthen and improve local government in Iowa. Those officials had a vision. They recognized that by joining together as one voice, all cities would benefit – then and in the future. More than 870 of the cities in Iowa, both large and small, are members. The League is governed by members through an Executive Board of officials, balanced by geographic region and city size. The League provides guidance. Through membership services, research, publications, trainings and other collaborations, the League provides guidance and serves as the resource for member cities. The League promotes excellent government, effective public policy and Home Rule among members as well as state and federal law makers. The League is a resource for insurance and investment needs. The League consolidates common city needs enabling group purchasing power and specialized assistance. Programs created by or sponsored by the League provide cost-effective quality services to cities. The League`s affiliated programs offer health, workers` compensation, liability and casualty coverage as well as a prosperous, liquid asset investment program. Other programs assist cities in developing services to better serve their citizens. The League keeps cities informed with a constantly updated slate of workshops and publications. The League provides education and training for elected and appointed city officials through workshops, publications, the Web and personal interactions.

RSI represents more than 200 rail supply companies involved in the manufacture of products and services in the freight car, locomotive, maintenance-of-way, communications and signaling, and passenger rail industries.
New England Village (NEV) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities realize their potential and pursue their dreams through innovative programs and community living. Using a person-centered approach, we offer a variety of services, including day habilitation, employment supports, and residential living. With 17 modern and beautifully maintained homes in a picturesque setting in Pembroke as well as a state-of-the-art wellness center and a beautiful day facility in Kingston, NEV supports 78 individuals in its Residential Services Division and 160 clients in its Day Services programs. Recognizing how integral quality staff is to the well-being of the individuals we serve, New England Villages management and board of directors have a made a commitment to being the Human Services Employer of Choice in our region.
