Industrial Valco was founded in 1947 by Charles "Nick" Nichols in his garage following the conclusion of World War II to supply reconditioned valves to industry. As the business began to grow, fittings and flanges were added to its offerings and soon Nick was scouring the country securing material to help distributors fill shortages in their inventory. What made Industrial Valco unique was that it was a distributor who only sold to other distributors. With this simple idea a new trade channel was formed; Master Distribution. Today, with warehouses nationwide, an inventory in the tens of millions and stocking more than 25,000 line items, Industrial Valco is proudly fulfilling what Nick humbly sought out to do from his garage in 1947; be a convenient "one stop shop" for distributors looking to fill their shorts and help them grow their business.
