About the Person
Neil White specialises in construction and civil engineering with particular expertise in the construction aspects of financing and procuring developments and infrastructure projects. His substantial project experience extends to the energy sector (where Neil has advised on wind power projects, incineration and combined heat and power plants), airport infrastructure, bridges, docks and roads. Neil is currently advising on the decommissioning of Ignalina Nuclear Power Station in Lithuania and has recently advised on the redevelopment of the Olympic press and broadcast centres to create iCity. Other projects include a 5* resort hotel and country club in Mallorca and fours sites for private rental developer Essential Living. Neil has extensive experience of dispute resolution in the construction industry and is a qualified mediator. Neil is a Member of the Society of Construction Law and is listed in the Legal 500 and Chambers as an expert in construction. In addition to his construction work, Neil is Taylor Wessing`s General Counsel, responsible for all risk and regulatory matters. Neil advises other law firms and SRA authorised bodies on compliance issues.
