Ashley started Love&Cookies after her oldest son was diagnosed at five years old with Kawasaki Disease, the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children. After her sons diagnosis, they started baking cookies together. One batch of cookies led to another and soon they were giving them away to neighbors and friends.
