The story of Yeyo`s began simultaneously in Michoacán, Mexico and California`s beautiful San Joaquin Valley in the early 80`s. My father was a seasonal farm worker. His stories would describe the early mornings with family and friends, gathering to prepare delicious food. Those stories were very interesting and always kept me going. During my father`s absence, I took every opportunity to learn and master traditional cooking techniques used by my mother and grandmother, and found the road to the unmistakable culinary identity that is worth sharing.
Our story begins, of course, a thousand years ago in Italy, where sun-warmed tomatoes, fresh basil and olive oil found their inevitable, perfect home on flatbread. But somehow, along the path to many of today`s modern tables, freezing, preservatives and other "efficiencies" led this splendid comfort food astray. In an effort to bring quality back to this beloved staple, Chef Anthony Carron created 800 Degrees Pizzeria, where craft cuisine and date-worthy atmospheres reign supreme. The perfect blend of ingenuity and integrity, 800 Degrees brings a uniquely American spirit to its authentic Italian Neapolitan pizza and fresh take on Chef`s signature greens.
