The mission of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission is to create a fair, transparent, and participatory process for implementing the expanded gaming law passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor in November, 2011. In November of 2007, Catholic Social Services of Grand Rapids joined with Catholic Social Services of Muskegon and Catholic Human Development Outreach to form Catholic Charities West Michigan, which serves the 11 counties of the Diocese of Grand Rapids.
