About the Person

Roger W. Thomas has served as general counsel of the Company since 1994, and as executive vice president and secretary of the Company since 1997. Mr. Thomas's responsibilities include structuring and implementing the Company's acquisitions and mergers, corporate governance, supervising outside legal counsel, overseeing risk management, and ensuring environmental and legal compliance and the preparation of required disclosure documents. Mr. Thomas also assists the Company in investment strategies, financial activities, acquisitions, and dispositions. Mr. Thomas served as a vice president and assistant secretary of the Company from 1994 to 1997. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Thomas was a partner at the law firm of Dreyer & Traub in New York, specializing in real estate and commercial transactions. Mr. Thomas holds a B.S.B.A. degree in finance and a J.D. degree (with honors) from the University of Denver.
