The County of Santa Clara is located at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay and encompasses 1,312 square miles. The fertile Santa Clara Valley runs the entire length of the county from north to south, ringed by the rolling hills of the Diablo Range on the east, and the Santa Cruz Mountains on the west. There are 15 cities including Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose, Santa Clara, Saratoga, and Sunnyvale ranging from Palo Alto to the north, to Gilroy in the south. San Jose is the largest city in the County, with a population of nearly 900,000, and is the administrative site of County Government. A significant portion of the county``s land area is unincorporated ranch and farmland. Nearly 92% of the population lives in cities. The County of Santa Clara operates 27 parks covering more than 50,000 acres including scenic lakes, streams, and miles of hiking and biking trails.

Since its 1976 establishment, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General has been at the forefront of the Nation`s efforts to fight waste, fraud and abuse in and improve the efficiency of HHS programs. A majority of OIG`s resources goes toward the oversight of Medicare and Medicaid — programs that represent a significant part of the Federal budget and that affect this country`s most vulnerable citizens. OIG`s oversight extends to programs under other HHS institutions, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, and the Food and Drug Administration. OIG carries out its mission using a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach, with each of our six components playing a vital role. A nationwide network of audits, investigations, and evaluations results in timely information as well as cost-saving or policy recommendations for decision-makers and the public. That network also assists in the development of cases for criminal, civil and administrative enforcement. OIG also develops and distributes resources to assist the health care industry in its efforts to comply with the nation`s fraud and abuse laws and to educate the public about fraudulent schemes so they can protect themselves and report suspicious activities.
Gwinnett County`s newest and largest city is situated in one of the fastest growing counties in Georgia and is conveniently located to major highways, I-85, I-285 and GA 400 and just 30 minutes northeast of Atlanta. Founded July 2012, Peachtree Corners is home to over 40,000 residents and is located in the southwest corner of the county. Seven miles of the Chattahoochee River define its western border. The new city`s roots began in the late 1960s as a dream of businessman Paul Duke, who pitched the idea of creating Peachtree Corners, a planned community to be build in the area once known as Pinckneyville.. Peachtree Corners is an active family-oriented city.
