Founded in 1980, Coastal Hospice is a private non-profit community program that provides traditional hospice services, palliative care, bereavement support, education and training to residents in Wicomico, Worcester, Dorchester, and Somerset Counties on Maryland`s Lower Eastern Shore. About 100 people are employed by Coastal Hospice and over 300 individuals volunteer. Our main office is located at 2604 Old Ocean City Road in Salisbury.

The WGA champions education through golf in sponsoring the Evans Scholars Program. Established by the WGA and famed amateur golfer Charles “Chick” Evans, Jr., it provides full housing and tuition scholarships to deserving caddies across the country. Currently, 935 caddies are attending college on scholarship; there are more than 10,000 Evans Scholars Alumni across the country.
