The Municipal District includes the hamlets of Little Smoky, Ridgevalley, DeBolt, Landry Heights and Grovedale. Our borders encompass the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation and the towns of Fox Creek, Grande Cache and Valleyview, while Grande Prairie is our neighbour to the west. Serviced by Highways 40, 43 and 49, railways and a major airport in Grande Prairie, transportation is convenient and efficient. Agriculture, forestry, oil and gas, coal and tourism are all mainstays of both the local and provincial economy.

Formed in 1840, the County of Wellington encompasses more than 2,600 square kilometres and is approximately an hour`s drive west of Toronto. It includes the Towns of Minto and Erin, and the Townships of Puslinch, Centre Wellington, Mapleton, Wellington North and Guelph-Eramosa. The County of Wellington has been widely honoured in the recent past. Earlier this year, the County`s Human Resources (HR) Department was presented with the Employer of Distinction Award by the Human Resources Professionals Association [Guelph and District Chapter]. Last year, the County was recognized nationally for having the Best Health and Wellness Strategy at the Canadian HR Awards and for being awarded as Canada`s Safest Employer by Canadian Occupational Safety. Hawaiʻi County is a county located in the U.S. state of Hawaii in the Hawaiian Islands. It is coterminous with the Island of Hawaiʻi, often called the "Big Island" to distinguish it from the state as a whole. As of the 2010 Census the population was 185,079. The county seat is Hilo. There are no incorporated cities in Hawaiʻi County (see Hawaii Counties). The Hilo Micropolitan Statistical Area includes all of Hawaiʻi County. Hawaiʻi County has a mayor-council form of government. Hawaii County is the largest county in the state, in terms of geography.
Leon County is home to Florida`s capital, Tallahassee, which was established in 1824. Legislative and executive offices and the State House and Senate chambers are located here. As a political subdivision of the state, the County is guided by an elected, seven-member Board of County Commissioners. Five members of the Board are elected to serve specific commission districts, and two members are elected at-large. The County Administrator is appointed by the Board to oversee all functions, directives and policies.
