North Iowa Area Community College is a progressive, comprehensive learning institution positioned to serve as the major cultural, educational, and economic development force for the North Iowa region. 2008 marks the 90th anniversary of the College, which began in 1918 as Mason City Junior College (the first public two-year college in Iowa) and became North Iowa Area Community College in 1966.
Stevenson University, known for its distinctive career focus, is the third-largest independent undergraduate university in Maryland with more than 4,200 students pursuing bachelor`s, master`s, and adult bachelor`s programs at locations in Stevenson and Owings Mills. Stevenson was formerly known as Villa Julie College; the name was changed in 2008.
The College includes three campuses and more than 20 off-campus sites in 15 counties. Our Beatrice campus is located in a city of 12,805 and our Milford campus is at home in a community of 2,071. Our Lincoln campus is located in the capital city of 232,362. Each location offers individual benefits—from rural friendliness and small city energy to metropolitan ambience. In addition to our campus locations, SCC serves 15 counties located in southeast Nebraska with courses operated through the College Continuing Education division. The general College Administrative Offices are located at 301 S. 68th Street Place in Lincoln.
