The Director of HR is a key member of the St. Luke`s executive management team, which is comprised of nine leaders who have a combined total of more than 100 years of service with St. Luke`s. Specific areas of responsibility for the Director of HR include:
• Developing organization strategies related to HR issues
• Advising on compensation and benefits matters
• Managing St. Luke`s relationship with labor counsel
• Overseeing employee relations practices, including the investigation of employee complaints
• Participating on the Compliance Committee
• Directing recruitment
• Administering FMLA
• Developing and updating policies
• Providing leadership related to performance management and career development
• Executing employee engagement programs
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a corporate environment. A Bachelor`s Degree is required, a Master`s Degree in Human Resources and HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP) is preferred.
