Surgent Networks LLC was formed in 2011 by Newfound Communications, Inc., a leading provider of call recording, interactive voice response (IVR) and dialing solutions for the telecommunications industry. Surgent was initiated in order to focus efforts on nurturing and growing the hosted VoIP IVR and messaging platform originally developed by Newfound. Surgent Networks, a privately held company, currently supports small to enterprise-level customers in fields including, but not limited to, Government, Healthcare, Education, Utilities and Corporate with applications ranging from hosted out-bound messaging and outreach to custom designed contact center workflows.
