Susan Parisi is senior vice president and associate general counsel for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), headquartered in the Madison, Wisconsin office. She has been with CUNA since 1987, holding various positions in the corporate legal affairs department. Susan is the Madison liaison between the corporate legal department and the various business units of CUNA, as well as CUNA Strategic Services and other affiliated organizations. Her work is to protect the interests of CUNA in business dealing with others and to provide legal advice and guidance with regard to business operations and endeavors of CUNA and its affiliates. Susan has expertise in the areas of contract law, human resources, facilities, information technology and other corporate law disciplines. Susan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and holds a Juris Doctorate, also from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She is a member of the Wisconsin Bar. Susan is known among attorneys around the nation for her delivery of the CUNA Attorneys Conference, an annual conference attended by attorneys who represent credit unions and credit union organizations. The conference provides current and comprehensive legal, regulatory and compliance training, as well as valuable networking, for attorneys with colleagues, regulators, and subject matter experts.
