J.D. Byrider opened in 1989 with a vision of how the used car buying experience could be done differently. We didn’t want anxiety in the showroom, we didn’t want distrust, and we didn’t want failure in our relationships with customers. We wanted satisfied customers and we wanted to serve customers with special financing needs who were routinely being ignored by other dealers. So we branded our own automobile financing company, CNAC, and placed it right in the dealership for quick credit approval. Discover is an industry recognized computerized operating system, daily customer satisfaction monitoring and a revolutionary customer risk evaluation system. Today, we’re headquartered in Carmel, Indiana; just outside Indianapolis. Our business model has attracted some of the industry’s brightest and most innovative executives. There are close to 160 J.D. Byrider branch locations across the nation, owned by either franchisees or the company. We`ve sold over 1 million vehicles since opening. Every month, more than 5,000 people—many of them repeat customers or referrals—come into our branches and trust us with their business.
