The City of Miami is known as the “Magic City” and is the largest municipality in Miami-Dade County. Our world renowned skyline stretches across Biscayne Bay. According to the most recent US Census estimates (July 2015) 441,003 people call Miami home. Many of our residents come from Caribbean Islands and Central and South America. In fact, 70% of our population is Hispanic or Latino.
