Christina School District is Delaware`s largest public school system, serving 17,400 students and employing 2,500 people. Our district currently serves the City of Newark and its surrounding suburban areas as well as a portion of the City of Wilmington. Christina has 18 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 3 traditional comprehensive high schools. In addition, the District is home to the Delaware School for the Deaf (preschool-Grade 12), the Delaware Autism Program (preschool-Age 22), Douglass Alternative School (Grades K-8), REACH and Options Programs (Grades K-12), Networks Career Training Program (Grades 9-12), and Sarah Pyle Academy.
