TripLingo was founded in 2011 as a solution to the numerous language and cultural barriers that international business travelers often confront. Since then, the app has expanded to include smart travel features—like currency conversion, local emergency numbers, general safety information, and essential medical terminology. In 2013, TripLingo was selected by GBTA as the “Business Travel Innovation of the Year.”
