ATK provides rig moving and other specialized transportation services to exploration, development and production companies operating in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Permian Basin of Texas. The Company was incorporated in 2010 to better serve the oil and gas industry’s rig moving needs in Western Canada. In 2013, ATK incorporated its U.S. subsidiary, ATK Oilfield Transportation (USA) Inc. and in 2014 commenced operations in Midland, Texas. Aera Energy LLC (Aera) is one of California’s largest oil and gas producers, accounting for about 25 percent of the state’s production. Aera produces approximately 148,000 barrels of oil and 42 million cubic feet of natural gas each day and has proved oil and gas reserves equivalent to approximately 756 million barrels of oil.
