Company chairman John Dewan founded the company with a group of partners in 2003. John has been a pioneer in sports statistics for more than 40 years and was the founder of STATS Inc. In April of 2021, Audeo Capital announced a significant investment into SIS. Shortly thereafter, a new CEO (Dan Hannigan-Daley) and VP of Product/Engineering (Will Hester) joined the organization following years of success at DraftKings.
McLaren Racing was founded by racing driver Bruce McLaren in 1963. The team entered its first Formula 1 race in 1966. The team also competes in the F1 Sim Racing Championship as McLaren Shadow, having won the 2022 Constructors and Drivers Championships. McLaren is a champion for sustainability in the sport and a signatory to the UN Sports for Climate Action Commitment.
