Uncommon Schools is a nonprofit organization that starts and manages outstanding urban public charter schools that close the achievement gap and prepare students in high-poverty, high-need areas to graduate from college. Uncommon currently manages 49 schools serving more than 16,000 K-12 students in six cities: Boston, Camden, New York City, Newark, Rochester, and Troy.
