South Central College is a Minnesota Community and Technical College with a history of academic excellence since 1946.
The university can trace its beginning to 1891 when members of the Church of the Brethren, moving west to California, founded Lordsburg College. When the surrounding agricultural community of Lordsburg was renamed to La Verne in 1917, the institution followed suit and La Verne College was established. To provide opportunities for students to achieve their educational goals and become contributing citizens to the global community. The University affirms a philosophy of life that actively supports peace with justice, the health of the planet and its people. Therefore, in light of this affirmation, it encourages students to become reflective about personal, professional, and societal values. It also encourages values-based ethical behavior.
Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) is a private institution that accepts in and out of state applicants. It is RFUMC policy to not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, color, creed, religion, national origin, disability or age, in admissions or employment, or in any programs or activities.
The Medical College of Wisconsin, or simply MCW, is a private, freestanding medical school and graduate school of sciences located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was formerly affiliated with Marquette University, but has operated as an independent institution since 1967.[1] MCW is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools and by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). The NCA is the accrediting body for all institutions of higher education in the College's geographic region and the LCME is the accrediting body of all US medical schools. Along with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, it is one of only two medical schools in Wisconsin, and it is the only private medical school in the state.
