For over 50 years, the Insurance Association of Connecticut (IAC) has been the voice of insurers doing business in Connecticut. We represent the interests of insurers both large and small, foreign and domestic, before decision-makers in all three branches of state government. We also provide our members with regular updates on laws, regulations, court decisions and news stories that affect insurers doing business in Connecticut. The IAC is one of the most well respected trade associations in Connecticut. Defense Digital Service is a rapid response team that includes top engineers, data scientists, product managers and designers - from industry, government and the military - working within the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office. Welcome to USDA Rural Development. We are committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in rural America. Through our programs, we help rural Americans in many ways. We offer loans, grants and loan guarantees to help create jobs and support economic development and essential services such as housing, health care, first responder services and equipment, and water, electric and communications infrastructure. We promote economic development by supporting loans to businesses through banks, credit unions and community-managed lending pools. We offer technical assistance and information to help agricultural producers and cooperatives get started and improve the effectiveness of their operations. We provide technical assistance to help communities undertake community empowerment programs. We help rural residents buy or rent safe, affordable housing and make health and safety repairs to their homes.
The Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community comprises two distinct Native American tribes—the Pima and the Maricopa —many of whom were originally of the Halchidhoma tribe. The community was officially created by an Executive Order of US President Rutherford B. Hayes on June 14, 1879.
