About the Person

Vito Charles Peraino has served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of American Financial Group, Inc. (the "Company") since March 2012. He previously had served as Senior Vice President of Great American Insurance Company since 2002 and Assistant General Counsel of Great American Insurance Company since 2004. Through September 2014, he also served on the Board of Directors of the Company’s subsidiary, National Interstate Corporation. Since joining Great American Insurance Company in 1999, Mr. Peraino has held various executive claims management positions. Previously, Mr. Peraino spent several years in private practice and has represented various insurance industry entities as an attorney since 1981. Mr. Peraino holds an undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
