The South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority is a non-profit public corporation. We provide customers with high quality water and services at a reasonable cost while promoting the preservation of watershed land and aquifers. On average, we supply 46 million gallons of water a day to a population of some 430,000 persons. We provide water and other services in all or portions of Ansonia, Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, Derby, East Haven, Hamden, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Seymour, West Haven and Woodbridge. We own land in Beacon Falls, Guilford, Killingworth, Madison, and Prospect. The Regional Water Authority owns more than 27,000-acres of land and provides a wide array of recreational and educational opportunities and water-related services to those in our water district. OneGoal`s mission is to close the college divide by enlisting and training our nation`s best educators to teach historically underserved high school students how to enroll in and complete college. OneGoal targets historically underserved students in low-income high schools with an average incoming GPA of 2.7 and an incoming ACT/SAT score of 15/729 to become OneGoal Fellows.
Serving San Diego County since 1880, San Diego Humane Society operates campuses in San Diego, Escondido and Oceanside. We offer San Diegans a wide range of programs and services that strengthen the human-animal bond, prevent cruelty/neglect, provide medical care, educate the community on the humane treatment of animals and provide safety net services for all pet families needing assistance with keeping their pets. As San Diego`s oldest nonprofit organization, San Diego Humane Society has campuses located in Escondido, Oceanside, and San Diego as well as adoption centers inside select Petco stores throughout San Diego County.
