GCF empowers these individuals by providing skills and experience in sustainability, enhancing their economic mobility and promoting a more equitable society. GCF offers various programs aimed at engaging youth in environmental initiatives. The NYC Cool Roofs project helps reduce urban heat while providing work opportunities. The Love Where You Live program promotes energy education and community resiliency. GCF also operates large-scale farms in partnership with Added Value, providing fresh produce to residents.
