Thoroughbred Diesel opened in 2001 as a one bay shop in Winchester, KY. We operated our shop on three simple ideas; impeccable customer service, lowest possible prices, and fast delivery. We specialized in diesel performance and diesel stock replacement installs. Through our years as strictly a service and performance garage we realized that people all over the country need a place they could trust to call and get free honest advice about their diesel vehicles. It was shortly after that we launched our website and began our "Call For Free Advice" slogan. At Thoroughbred Diesel we know more than just the part numbers, we know the parts. We are still a real shop located in Winchester Kentucky that specialize in diesel performance and diesel repair and, we still offer free advice.

Our existing database offers unparalleled detail and is updated daily, not just for the 3 professional sports listed, but at the collegiate, international and minor league levels as well. We are also moving further into the real-time data space (for the above noted sports) and into new sports/leagues. A key differentiator for us relative to competition is our flexibility and ability to customize feeds, data points, etc based on specific needs of partners. Company chairman John Dewan founded the company with a group of partners in 2003. John has been a pioneer in sports statistics for more than 40 years and was the founder of STATS Inc. In April of 2021, Audeo Capital announced a significant investment into SIS. Shortly thereafter, a new CEO (Dan Hannigan-Daley) and VP of Product/Engineering (Will Hester) joined the organization following years of success at DraftKings.
SMSI is a small business providing management and technical/engineering services to the DOE/NNSA, national laboratories, and industrial clients. Our work with nuclear facility operations and safety has set the standard for excellence. We are the resource for highly technical engineering and nuclear safety basis development, review, and implementation at the national laboratories. SMSI has a demonstrated record of success providing superior people developing and implementing innovative solutions, delivering projects on time and within budget. We build productive relationships by being highly responsive to our customers. Operations began in 2000 with headquarters in Albuquerque, NM, and currently operating offices in Los Alamos, NM and Oak Ridge, TN.
