The medical school was created in unprecedented partnership with local taxpayers, who in 2012 voted to support a vision for better health in Austin and Travis County. Dell Medical School and its teaching hospital, Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas, are part of a vibrant health district that is developing in downtown Austin. The district physically links us to our key partners and further strengthens our ties to the community. The district includes three Dell Medical School buildings with 600,000 square feet of space dedicated to innovative education, care and research. A&M-San Antonio, located on 694 acres, offers a 21st century education empowering students to enter the highly diverse and competitive market. Built in the style of the historic Spanish missions, our Main Campus facilities leverage technology to enhance the University’s commitment to student success, while embracing the spirit of San Antonio’s rich culture. At A&M-SA, we are making the dream of higher education a reality for students in the San Antonio community and the region. We currently offer 22 undergraduate degrees and 10 graduate degrees in a variety of in-demand fields with on-line and hyflex, hybrid course options. While the Main Campus continues to grow, A&M-SA also offers courses in northeast San Antonio at the Alamo University Center and at the Brooks City-Base.
