South Georgia Technical College`s main campus is located in Sumter County, six miles northeast of Americus. The college is 135 miles south of Atlanta, between Highways 19 and 49 on South Georgia Tech Parkway. It has a satellite campus in Cordele. It has been spotlighted as the top-ranked community college in Georgia for 2017 by two different organizations. Onondaga Community College is a college of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and one of 30 locally sponsored community colleges throughout New York State. Onondaga County is our sponsor.
