Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is one of the largest community college districts in the United States, serving more than 200,000 students each year in Maricopa County, Arizona. With 10 colleges in the metropolitan Phoenix area, including a corporate college, and two skills centers, MCCCD is a critical partner in workforce and economic development with MCCCD graduates moving directly into high-demand jobs with skills needed by todays employers including health care, IT, business services, and construction sectors. In an effort to support employers and enhance our students success, Maricopa is building a new model for engaging businesses and assisting students on a pathway to reaching their goals. Through these transformative efforts and partnerships, we will expand work-based experiences for students to learn the skills employers need. The programs offered at MCCCD include those leading to a two-year associate degree, occupational certificates, and university transfer, as well as online classes, dual two-year degrees, and learning for a lifetime. The cost of tuition for Maricopa County residents is $85 per credit hour.
Established in 1995, Arkansas State University-Mountain Home is a public, open access, two-year campus of the Arkansas State University System, primarily serving students in North Central Arkansas.
The Office of the Vice President and General Counsel was formed in 2010 and is responsible for overseeing all legal affairs of the University, which includes the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and College of Medicine located in Hershey, the University Park campus and 19 others, 2 special mission campuses across the Commonwealth and the World Campus. The current staff includes the general counsel, twelve associate general counsels, two assistant general counsels, three paralegals, one executive assistant, one administrative assistant and one financial assistant. The General Counsel reports directly to the President and the Board of Trustees. The Office of General Counsel provides legal advice and representation to the Board of Trustees, the President and other administrators in their capacity as agents conducting University business. The attorneys in the office do not provide legal services to faculty, staff or students in their personal matters.
