The University of Montana Foundation’s mission is to increase philanthropic support to ensure the University of Montana’s excellence, access and affordability, focusing fundraising activity on the priorities set by the University and building and maintaining relationships with alumni and friends who donate to UM. We also manage an endowment. Earnings from the endowment provide ongoing support for the University. The Foundation is an independent non-profit organization with a Board of Trustees. The Trustees and staff work with University leaders to set fundraising priorities which support the University’s strategic plan.
